Colorado vs. Oregon State et al

No. 8 Alabama has been finding different ways to win this season. On Saturday night, it beat No. 1 42-28 in an offensive shootout. 14 won against LSU. The win gives the Crimson Tide control of the SEC West with a clear path to the conference title game.

In the evening’s other marquee game, the Wildcats at the LA Coliseum showcased No. 5 Washington no. 20 USC overruled 52-42. The win keeps Washington undefeated and very much alive in the College Football Playoff and Pac-12 title races.

But the drama started before then as Clemson cruised to a 31-23 victory over No. 15 Notre Dame despite the Tigers making several late mistakes. No. 10 Ole Miss followed up with a last-second blocked field goal to survive a scare against Texas A&M, and Texas needed a fourth-down stop in overtime to beat Kansas State.

No. 22 Oklahoma State kept the drama alive later in the afternoon, falling 27-24 to No. 9 Oklahoma in what was the final Bedlam Tournament game in the future. Georgia, meanwhile, holds its own against a feisty Missouri team in a crucial SEC East showdown.

At this point in the season, teams are juggling both the CFP standings and their respective conference standings. Follow all the action here (scroll for live updates):
