A week ago, the Dallas Cowboys looked like the team of destiny in the NFC. But the Buffalo Bills beat them 31-10 in Week 15.
Things don't get much easier in week 16. Dallas faces another strong AFC East opponent in the Miami Dolphins. Miami didn't miss a beat without Tyreek Hill in Week 15, dropping 30 points in a shutout on the New York Jets. Hill was listed as questionable all week with an ankle injury, but is officially active for the contest.
Both teams have a lot to play for in Week 16. Dallas is still in contention for the NFC East and has the same record as the Philadelphia Eagles (10-4). The Dolphins are ranked No. 1 in the AFC. Despite holding the No. 2 seed, Baltimore is ahead of the Ravens for the top seed and a wild-card round bye.
In other afternoon games of the week, the Chicago Bears will host the Arizona Cardinals and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will host the Jacksonville Jaguars. Despite falling by three points to the Cleveland Browns last weekend, the Bears have won three of their last five games. The Cardinals lost by 16 points to the San Francisco 49ers last week when Kyler Murray threw a pair of interceptions. The loss dropped them to just 3-11 on the season. The Jaguars have lost three straight, but are still in the running in the AFC South. The Bucs, on the other hand, have won three in a row.
Dolphins lead 19-13 early in 4th after Brandon Aubrey hits another FG for Cowboys.
