Who should start? Who should sit? To set your fantasy football lineups and avoid starting an offensive player who isn’t in the lineup, we’ll be posting fantasy-related updates and analysis here as NFL teams release their official inactive lists. Any rankings quoted in this column are from us ESPN Fantasy Staff Rankings
Official Sunday blackouts will begin approximately 90 minutes before the scheduled kickoff times: 8 a.m. ET for the Germany game, 11:30 a.m. ET for the early games and 2:30 p.m. ET for the afternoon games.
Update often for latest information.
9:30 a.m. ET
Alec Pierce, WR, IND — Active
Impact: Bears should see his normal workload in Sunday’s game against Germany.
Josh Towns, WR, IND — Active
Impact: Expect Isaiah McKenzie to see more action as Downs hasn’t practiced all week and could be a “snap count” today.
Demario Douglas, WR, NE — Active
Impact: He’ll play, but Kayshon Boutte is (finally!) active, so Douglas may lack targets worthy of a fantasy start.
Devante Parker, WR, NE — outside
Impact: He didn’t travel with the team, leaving the door open for Jalen Recour to get some looks.
games at 1 p.m. ET
Keaton Mitchell, RB, BAL — questionable
Impact: Mitchell is expected to part ways with Gus Edwards.
Ja’Mar Chase, WR, CIN — questionable
Impact: Stanley Morgan and Shedrick Jackson were both promoted from the practice squad. That’s not a great sign here. It will probably be a last minute decision.
Dee Higgins, WR, CIN — outside
Impact: Trenton Irvin will be the Bengals receiver to claim off waivers.
Marks Goodwin, WR, CLE — outside
Impact: WR David Bell is also injured, leaving Cedric Tillman in a good spot to pick up some action.
Robert Woods, WR, HOU — questionable
Impact: He’s expected back this week, but how many snaps he sees remains questionable.
Nico Collins, WR, HOU — outside
Impact: The pairing of Tank Dell and Noah Brown has impressed recently.
Damien Pierce, RB, HOU — outside
Impact: Devin Singletary excelled without Pierce in Week 9.
Search Fairbairn, K, NEW — Out/IR
Impact: Matt Ammendola has signed with the team to handle the kicking duties, at least through Week 14.
Jay Jones, WR, JAX — outside
Impact: Again, this should be the “Calvin Ridley and Christian Kirk Show” for the Jaguars.
Justin Jefferson, WR, MIN — outside
Impact: Although his window to return from IR has been set in motion this week, the receiver isn’t ready yet.
Jaren Hall, QB, MIN — outside
Impact: Joshua Dobbs will start in Week 10 and is likely to be out for several weeks. Hall could be Dobbs’ backup once he clears the league’s concussion protocol.
KJ Osborne, WR, MIN — questionable
Impact: His practice time increased as the week went by, and he cleared the league’s concussion protocol. However, that may come down to how he feels this morning.
TJ Hawkenson, TE, MIN — questionable
Impact: All signs point to Hockenson not only playing, but thriving in Week 10.
Michael Thomas, WR, no — He is expected to play
Impact: Amid reports of an off-field incident involving Thomas, the Saints now plan to play him in Week 10.
Kendre Miller, RB, no — outside
Impact: Jamaal Williams is currently the primary backup to Alvin Kamara.
Traylon Burks, WR, TEN — outside
Impact: Nick Westbrook-Egain moves up the Titans’ goal tree.
Ryan Tannehill, QB, TEN — questionable
Impact: Active or not, Tennessee has already made a QB change to Will Lewis.
4pm ET games
James Connor, RB, ARI — Activated from IR
Impact: Expect him to return along with QB Kyler Murray. Both are rusty, so proceed with caution.
Michael Wilson, WR, ARI — questionable
Impact: With Murray back under center, Wilson’s value will only rise in the coming weeks.
Mack Hollins, WR, ATL — outside
IMPACT: Drake is set to return to London. Katharel Hodge could be a “roll of the dice” for flexibility.
Donovan Peoples-Jones, WR, DET — questionable
Impact: Still learning a new playbook and with rib issues limiting his practice, it’s unclear whether DBJ will dress. However, the Lions could be a bit run-heavy in Week 10, given the “all clear” to return to RB David Montgomery.
Curtis Samuel, WR, WSH — questionable
Impact: He’s expected to play, which will deter fantasy managers who want to play with Jahan Dodson and Terry McClarin.
Sunday night game
There were no major imaginal injuries.
