Exclusive: The latest Knives out The sequel recently got a title, and now Deadline hears it’s adding more star power to its ensemble, with Emmy-winner Kerry Washington set to join Daniel Craig on Netflix. Wake Up Dead Man: A Night’s Out Mystery. He joins new cast members Josh O’Connor, Kayleigh Spaney and Andrew Scott, with Craig returning as world-renowned detective Benoit Blanc, directed by Rian Johnson. Johnson wrote the script and is producing his T-Street alongside producing partner Ram Bergman.
Plot details are unknown. Most recent film, Glass onion, bowed out in 2022, returning as Craig Blank. The film premiered on Netflix, with the streamer inking a $450 million deal for both series, the third in the series.
The Knives out The series is no stranger to delivering ensembles packed with star power, and this installment is no different. Production is set to begin next month, with Netflix planning a 2025 release.
Best known for her Emmy-winning role as Olivia Pope on the hit series corruption, Washington continues to be busy on the feature and television front. She will next be seen in a Netflix film Six triple eight Directed by Tyler Perry. He also recently wrapped up the production of the Lionsgate action film Shadow Force And his Hulu show has a second season not incarcerated, It also stars Delroy Lindo.
