The Jacksonville Jaguars will play in London twice in 2023 — a first for an NFL team — and the Miami Dolphins will face the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs in the marquee matchup of NFL international games, the league announced Wednesday.

The Dolphins, Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore Ravens and Indianapolis Colts join the Jaguars, Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, Tennessee Titans and New England Patriots on the list of teams playing outside the United States next season.

The international slate kicks off in London on October 1st with a Week 4 clash between the Falcons and Jaguars at Wembley Stadium. The Jaguars will play their second game in London a week later on October 8 against the Bills at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The Titans and Ravens will play the final London game at Tottenham Hotspur on October 15.

“We’ve staged games in London since 2007 and the interest and momentum in the sport here in the UK has grown year on year and we look forward to delivering the best NFL experience to fans in 2023,” said NFL UK General Manager Henry Hodgson.

Germany will host the remaining two NFL games in Europe: a Week 9 meeting between the Dolphins and Chiefs on Nov. 5 and the Colts facing the Patriots on Nov. 12. Both matches will be played at the Frankfurt Stadium.

It will be the first time the NFL has hosted multiple games in Germany, which hosted its first regular season game last season when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Seattle Seahawks 21-16. The five games played in Europe are the most for an NFL season, and all five games start at 9:30 a.m. ET.

“We are pleased to confirm that both games in Germany will be played in Frankfurt, steeped in NFL tradition,” said Peter O’Reilly, NFL executive vice president, club business, major events and internationals. “We look forward to hosting both games at Eintracht Frankfurt, building on the incredible atmosphere experienced at last season’s game in Munich.”

There will be no international games in Mexico in 2023 due to renovations at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City.

The full 2023 NFL schedule will be released Thursday at 8 p.m. ET.

The Jaguares had previously planned to play two home games at Wembley in 2020, but those fixtures were canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. This year, they will play the second game of a three-year deal approved by the NFL in March 2022 to host one game annually at Wembley Stadium. The deal gives the Jaguars full responsibility for the games and allows the franchise to keep all revenue.
