Will Lewis threw four TDs and the Titans won 28-23

The Titans may have found themselves a quarterback.

Will Lewis threw four touchdown passes in his first NFL start, and the Titans earned a 28-23 home win over the Falcons. After the Falcons got back within five points for the first time, three scores in the fourth quarter went to DeAndre Hopkins and the fourth went to Nick Westbrook-Igain for a 33-yard score.

Lewis completed 19-of-29 for 238 yards and led the Titans to their first 28-point game since Week 18 of the 2021 season. That could lead to questions about whether Ryan Tannehill will be at quarterback after he returns from an ankle injury.

Titans head coach Mike Vrabel said the team will use Malik Willis at quarterback, but he had a small run in the first half and Levis ran the show in other ways.

Falcons head coach Arthur Smith will also field some quarterback questions. Taylor Heinicke replaced Desmond Ryder to put the Falcons up 14-3 at the half, and he led the team on four scoring drives in the second half. Ridder was evaluated for a concussion but was cleared, so it will be interesting to see what Smith has to say about the coming weeks.

The Titans will be in Pittsburgh next week and the Falcons will be at home to face the Vikings.
