Jack Wilson's girlfriend is excited about the quarterback's next NFL chapter.
Hours after news broke Monday that the former first-round pick had been traded from the Jets to the Broncos as part of a late-round pick swap, Nicolette Dellano took to her Instagram Story to celebrate her boyfriend's move to Denver.
Re-sharing a post from the NFL's Instagram page highlighting Wilson's trade, Dellano added an orange heart emoji to his story, a nod to the Broncos' colors.
Like Dellano — a New Jersey-bred model first linked to the quarterback in 2022 — Wilson's family had a happy reaction to Monday's news, which comes less than two months after Jets general manager Joe Douglas cleared him for a trade.
“Excited for a fresh start. Let's go!” Wilson's mom, Lisa, posted an Instagram story showing her 24-year-old son in a Broncos uniform.
She added in a separate post: “Surround yourself with people [that] Love you, be happy for you, and wish you success.”
It's been a tumultuous tenure in New York for Wilson, who was drafted second overall in 2021.
He posted a 12-21 record with the Jets.
Although he was expected to sit out 2023, Wilson was thrust into action in Week 1 after the four-time league MVP ruptured his Achilles just four plays into his Jets career as the Jets acquired future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers from the Packers.
Wilson was benched late in the season, but returned in a dominant 30-6 win over the Texans in Week 14, perhaps his best performance as a Jet.
He started the following week against the Dolphins, having previously left the 30-0 loss with a head injury.
It would be Wilson's final game in a Jets uniform.
Now a member of the Broncos — who received a seventh-round pick (No. 256) from the Jets, who received a sixth-rounder (No. 203) — Wilson enters an organization with many questions surrounding the quarterback position.
Although the Broncos have journeymen Jared Stidham and Ben DiNucci, Denver is widely expected to be in the mix for a quarterback when the 2024 NFL Draft begins Thursday.
Former Oregon quarterback Bo Knicks could be targeted with the No. 12 pick, as The Post's Steve Serby proposed in his latest mock draft.
